Why aren't my patients rebooking?

Almost never because the treatment disappointed them. Patients lapse through process leaks: they left without a next appointment, nobody followed up when they were due, booking again took effort, their call went to voicemail, or a missed appointment was met with silence. All five are fixable, and none of them require better marketing.

Leak 1: they left without a next step

The cheapest rebooking happens at the front desk, thirty seconds after the appointment. Every patient who walks out without a future booking enters the leak funnel. Measure this one number for a week and you will find your biggest hole.

Leak 2: due-back but nobody noticed

The rebooking report knows exactly who is overdue. If nobody works it weekly, being due back is invisible. This is the leak Routiq exists for: Robyn works the report and writes each follow-up personally.

Leaks 3, 4 and 5: friction, voicemail, silence

Booking that requires a phone call during business hours loses shift workers and parents. Calls that hit voicemail book elsewhere. And a no-show that gets silence becomes a lapse; a kind same-day message usually becomes a reschedule.

Fix the five leaks and most clinics discover the growth problem was a plumbing problem.

Quick answers
