How to connect Nookal to Routiq.
Connect Nookal to Routiq so Robyn can read your live diary across every location, offer real times and book directly into Nookal. Here is the full setup.

Before you start
- A Nookal account with permission to manage Connections and Staff settings.
- A Routiq account. If you do not have one yet, start the 7-day free trial. No card required.
- Step 01
Create your Routiq account
Go to app.routiq.ai and sign up. It takes a minute and no card is needed for the trial. You will land on your Routiq dashboard, where you paste your Nookal key in the last step.

- Step 02
Generate a Nookal API key
In Nookal, go to Setup then Connections then API Keys and add a new key. Tick the locations Robyn should work across, enable the options she needs, and set the key's status to active. Copy the key somewhere safe. You paste it into Routiq shortly.
An API key grants access to your account, so treat it like a password and only share it with Routiq.

- Step 03
Enable your staff for integrations
Open each practitioner under Setup then Staff and tick Enable Integrations. This lets Robyn see and book that clinician. Their name, qualifications and photo become available for online booking once configured.

- Step 04
Choose your bookable service types
Under Setup then Online Bookings, open Available Types and tick the services and classes Robyn is allowed to book for each practitioner. Anything left unticked stays off the menu.

- Step 05
Paste your key into Routiq
In Routiq, open Integrations then Nookal and paste the API key you generated. Routiq connects through the Nookal API, so Nookal stays the source of truth and there is no second calendar to reconcile.

Once you are connected
Robyn gets to work. Nookal stays the source of truth.
